A true ode to the origins of the Santal wood, which takes us to India in the capital of Karnataka. We discover this tree with multiple Ayurvedic powers from the crown to the roots, passing through the cortex. Its enveloping woody shades reveal themselves with elegance, thanks to the contrasting but harmonious notes that accompany them.
Through cardamom and violet leaf, master perfumer Alberto Morillas expresses the green side of the plant, as well as the freshness and roundness of its notes. We dive into the heart of the wood, among the powerful notes of sandalwood, creamy and intense. Then we reach the roots, where the most sought-after white musks, such as the vulcanoid, are revealed. This mineral and earthy musk mixes with sandalwood to reveal a sensuality barely powdered, carnal like the fallow deer.
